Callaway + Cam + Corsa = Nasty!!

As you may have seen in previous posts we recently added a set of Kooks long tube headers and a catted center section to Mickey's Callaway Corvette.  This helped the Callaway breathe but Mickey wanted a more aggressive sound then the "Double D" muffler offered.  Mickey decided on the Corsa Xtreme muffler section with the diamond black tips.  Then to pump more performance out of the Callaway we installed one of our custom camshafts for positive displacement blowers.

Oh Snap!!.... While it's in the shop....

We fitted Mike's Z06 about a year ago with a nice bolt on package.  Kooks headers, Kooks center section, Corsa Axle back, CAI, Thermostat and a Tune.  While Mike was enjoying a day of drag racing in Bakersfield, CA this weekend on his last pass he hit 2nd gear and heard an bang!!  The results of the bang can be see below.  His right axle exploded the tripot joint!!!

Since Mike's Z06 was going to be down for a couple of days while we waited for the axle he decided to have us install one of our cam packages!!  With the added power it's a good thing GM has updated these axles.

GT Ooooh....

David did not have alot of confidence in the mods done to his 06' GTO before he bought it.  To put some confidence back into his ride he decided to have us install one of GM's latest crate engines.  The power plant of choice was the 525hp LS3 engine!  This engine along with his full accoutrement of bolt-ons should really make for an excellent package for years to come.  Oh and did I mention it comes with a 2yr/50,000 mile warranty from GM.  Horsepower with a warranty it does not get better.
