Wade's like all of us was looking for more performance out of his ride. Now the generation 5 Camaro is not a lightweight machine. A great way to overcome this is by giving the Camaro more of a mechanical advantage over is cumbersome size. How do you do this you may ask well the answer is with more gear. We are replacing the factory 3.42 ring and pinion with Chevrolet Performance 3.91 ring and pinion. This nets us roughly 15% rotations of the rear wheels, and a lighter feeling Camaro.
