Casey Gets Converted

After unleashing the fury of a F1-D Procharger on his 2008 Pontiac G8 GT, and cranking out 730rwhp on 13lbs of boost, Casey found one of the weak links in the drive train.  We saw this coming since the stock 6L80E transmission is only good to 600-650rwhp, and the plan was to baby this mean machine around.  Like always the siren song of the gas pedal is almost impossible for anyone to resist, and Casey's transmission fell victim to the horsepower and met an early demise.  Luckily the damage was not catastrophic, and gave us the chance to install some other much needed parts.

The build:

Re-Built 6L80E
Yank SS2800 Converter
Earl's Transmission Cooler
Camaro Transmission Pan
Camaro Transmission Filter

Tom's G8 Gets Some Yank

Tom is looking to add some performance to his Stryker Blue G8. Yank had the perfect solution. A Yank SS 2800 stall converter offers probably the best bang for the buck on and car with an auto. I'm sure Tom will love this addition to his G8.

Buford's Bump Stick

Though Justin's G8 made some great power with the stock DOD cam in place, but the DOD lifters are not confidence inspiring.  The fix is a DOD delete, by replacing the lifters, cam, and valley cover.  Justin specked out his own cam so we will see how he did in a few days!
