Wham, Bam, Sam Cam!!

Michael already had a rather stout Camaro in his possession that we built for him a year or so ago.   Most people would be happy with a Camaro SS with a list of mods that include a Procharger, Kooks Headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Pfadt Suspension, Yank Converter.  Unfortunately really no matter what you build after time the "butt-o-meter" just does not register the same, and what once was amazing is well "ok."  So what do you do to bring back the excitement to a Camaro with an impressive resume like this?  Well put a cam in it of course!  The L99 with the factory VVT/DOD camshaft does not care for the upper part of the rpm band, so we do a DOD delete and add the "Sam Cam."  We will have the results in a couple of days but for now here are some pics of the build.

Mark goes long!!

Mark has had his Camaro in for a tune a few months ago.  Since then he changed out his Borla shorty headers for a set of TSP long tube headers.  After completing the swap to long tube headers Mark wanted us to check the tune and see if there was a gain.  He was pleasantly surprised to the tune of +27 rwhp and  +24 rwtq!!!  Sorry I did not get more pictures.

Joanne's Convertible

Joanne purchased a new 2011 2SS Camaro here at Fairway Chevrolet last week.  Like eighty percent of new Camaro owners Joanne felt like the car was really missing the "muscle" sound we all love from a muscle car.  Lets face it when you stomp on the "GO Pedal" you are just waiting for the roar of that GM power plant, and the factory exhaust just does not deliver.  With the addition of a Magnaflow Street Series cat-back Joanne got the sound and look she wanted from her new Camaro!

Pajett Mods his new convertible

Pajett just purchased his new 2011 Camaro 2SS here at Fairway Chevrolet and wanted us to add a Roto-Fab intake and a Magnaflow Competition cat-back exhaust.  I am a fan of both of these products due to the overall quality and fit of them.  These additions gave Pajett's Camaro a new more aggressive sound and a nice gain in horsepower...
